About Secure Swap​
Secure Swap (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a neutral middleman service that facilitates item trades between two parties.
We inspect, verify, and forward items once both parties meet the required conditions.
Secure Swap does not buy, sell, or trade items and does not guarantee the outcome of any trade.
​Eligibility
To use Secure Swap, you must:
Be at least 18 years old
Provide accurate and truthful information
Have the legal right to trade the item you submit
By using our service, you confirm you meet these requirements.
​Service Process
The Secure Swap service operates as follows:
Each party independently submits the Secure Swap payment form and pays their applicable Tier fee
SecureS wap issues a Trade ID and shipping instructions once both payments are received
Both parties ship their items to Secure Swap’s designated PO Box with tracking
Secure Swap inspects and verifies the items
Items are forwarded only after both parties approve the verification
Secure Swap reserves the right to pause or cancel any trade at its discretion.
Tier Fees & Payments
Tier fees are based on item weight
Each party must pay their own Tier fee
All payments are one-time and non-transferable
Prices include outbound shipping from Secure Swap to the receiving party
Payment processing fees charged by third-party providers are non-refundable.
No Refunds After Shipping
Refunds are subject to the Secure Swap Refund Policy.
No refunds will be issued once:
Shipping instructions have been issued, or
An item has been shipped to Secure Swap, or
An item has been received by Secure Swap
Item Accuracy & Misrepresentation
Customers must accurately describe their items.
If an item is misrepresented:
Secure Swap may pause or cancel the trade
Additional fees may apply
Items may be returned at the customer’s expense
Secure Swap does not authenticate items unless explicitly stated.
Prohibited Items
Secure Swap does not accept:
Illegal items
Stolen goods
Prohibited or restricted items
Hazardous materials
Items banned by shipping carriers
Trades involving prohibited items may be cancelled without refund.
Shipping Responsibility
Customers are responsible for safely packaging items sent to Secure Swap
Tracking is required for all inbound shipments
Secure Swap is not responsible for loss or damage during transit to our PO Box
Secure Swap is not responsible for carrier delays
Inspection Disclaimer
Secure Swap inspections are visual and functional checks only.
We do not guarantee authenticity, value, grading accuracy, or future condition.
Use of our service does not constitute professional appraisal or certification.
Liability Limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Secure Swap is not liable for indirect or consequential losses
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service
Secure Swap is not responsible for disputes between trading parties
Chargebacks & Fraud
Unauthorised chargebacks may result in:
Suspension of service
Cancellation of trades
Legal action if necessary
Secure Swap reserves the right to provide evidence to payment processors.
Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Changes to Terms
Secure Swap may update these Terms at any time.
Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
